Love Your World's Carbon footprint
DK measured the carbon footprint of Love Your World by detailed examination of the total carbon emissions produced at every stage of the book manufacturing and printing process.

The carbon footprint of Love Your World was measured by Climate Partner, based in Germany. The entire manufacturing process was measured, from delivery of the paper from the mill to the printer, and books delivered to UK and US warehouses once the printing process was complete. Throughout this process carbon emissions were kept to a minimum, and the total carbon footprint for Love Your World is 30 tonnes.

DK has chosen to offset the carbon emissions produced by Love Your World via Climate Care.

Made With Care and Book Aid International
For every copy of Love Your World sold through Amazon, DK will donate a book to Book Aid International. Book Aid International promotes literacy in developing countries by creating reading and learning opportunities for disadvantaged people, in order to help them realise their potential and eradicate poverty.

is FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certified, which means it is sourced from responsibly managed forests. Our paper mill recycles 91% of the water required during manufacture. Our card is recycled.

has reduced its carbon footprint by 52% since 1994 and generates 100% of its own electricity.
