Use anything you can fine that floats for boat building materials. What floats and what doesn’t?

To make a basic boat...

 
Box full of bottles and bits of plastic

All you need are two plastic bottles and a plastic food tray. When you have finished, add special features such as a control deck or a go-faster spoiler.

Plastic Bottle
Carefully make a hole in each corner.
Plastic Food Tray
Plastic Bottle
Scissors and string.

Step 1

 
2 bottles either side of a plastic food tray
Carefully make a hole in
each corner of the food tray

Step 2

 
2 bottles either side of a plastic food tray tied with string
Tie a piece of string through each
hole and around each bottle tightly.
