Basically, things are moving too fast to record it all, at all, accurately. But here we are, riding a whirlwind, which has to be kept under wraps (an increasingly difficult option as everyone knows that we are doing something). The cover shoot is set up for next week. We've got a studio for three days, Thursday thru Saturday; we have to build a gantry as Gered wants to do one of his specialities - an overhead shot. We've got to coordinate Gered and Richard Evans, God knows who from the team, stuff to be sourced and assembled, Wyman appearing at 1.30 pm on Friday, along with Mary McCartney to "shoot the shoot". A whole new semantic vocabulary has developed (as it always does) within the project.

After endless e-mails it's all set up. Then Gered rings. Problem. A family crisis. He has to cancel the Friday segment of the shoot. He has organised an overrun to Monday, can we reorganise? Bill and Mary can make Monday. Can the rest of us stand the tension?
