Life in the Wild screensaver

Discover astonishing photographic portraits of Earth's inhabitants – from the familiar to the decidedly bizarre – in this month-by-month screensaver.

When your screensaver starts, it will open in the current month with an amazing animal portrait. The image will change each month, or you can view other months through the annual calendar.

How to download the screensaver

• Click on the download link below (the screensaver is available to PCs only).
• You will be asked whether you want to download and save a .zip file on your computer.
  Choose 'Save File' and save it to your desktop.
• When the download is complete, double-click the file entitled 'wild_screensaver.zip' and extract the contents (you will need Winzip or another compression software to do this).
• Double-click the extracted file 'wild_screensaver.exe' to install the screensaver.
• You can then adjust your screensaver settings, which can be accessed from your PC's display properties panel.
