Teaspoon
Tablespoon
Sieve
Electric whisk
Cooling rack
2 bun tins filled with paper cases
To
make the cakes:
Set the oven to 190C/375F/Gas Mark 5. Sieve the flower and
baking powder into the bowl.
Add everything else - beat the eggs and throw them in with
the butter, sugar, and vanilla essence.
Whisk the mixture until it's creamy
Does the mixture drop off a spoon? If so, it's ready.
Fill up the cases with the mixture. Put a teaspoon of the
mixture in each case. Bake in the oven for 20 minutes.
Take the trays out of the oven - ask an adult to help you!
Leave the cakes to cool for about 20 minutes, then ice and
decorate them. Hey presto - rainbow fairy cakes! Yummy!
