DK, along with our sister company Penguin, actively support charitable initiatives through its employees who get matched funding of up to £500 for any fundraising they do.
During 2005 DK and Penguin employees have raised money for many causes including Princess Alice Hospice, The Outward Bound Trust, The Samaritans, Cancer Research, Afghanaid, Changing Faces, BLISS, Shooting Star Hospice, Sydenham Garden Project and Joshua Orphan Care Centre Malawi to name but a few.
Penguin UK also hosted four charity book sales for internal staff, which have raised large amounts for charities such as the Isabel Hospice/Joshua Orphan Care Centre, Breast Cancer Care, London Connection, NSPCC, Sydenham Garden Project, Princess Alice Hospice and Changing Faces.
