'This is a coffee-table compendium characterised by nice pictures, over-adventurous coverage and poor scholarship. Interestingly, Howard Reid and Michael Croucher wrote a book similarly entitled "Way of the Warrior" in the early 1980''s which accompanied a BBC TV series on martial arts. Although they were not martial artists but BBC researchers / journalists - the quality of the work compared to Crudelli''s was far superior.'
