'This book teaches kids about different animals, what their offspring is called and other various things to learn about animals. For example a turkey has a beak; it shows the children in the book where the beak is on the turkeys body. The book begins with a pretty picture of a farm and there is also a cow in the picture. It shows using labels where the barn is and the farmhouse; it asks the children to “come and meet my friends on the farm.” On the next page we meet our friend the chicken and her baby chicks. The picture labels where the chicks are and where the feathers of the chicken are. On the next page we see a turkey it shows where the turkeys beak and feathers are located. The book shows pigs and piglets, Cows and calves, dogs and puppies, sheep and lambs, goats and kids, duck and ducklings and other animals you might find on a farm. This is a good book for children because kids usually love animals and it gives the teacher the opportunity to speak with the children, ask them questions and involve them in the reading.'
