She has immense hands-on experience of making art with young children. She started teaching one child in her own kitchen, and ten years later she has taught more than 10,000 budding artists in her own art schools. The reason Nellie's art classes are so popular and successful is that they don't follow rules - there are no rules with art, just individuality and fantasy.

Nellie knows young children do not judge art. They are just happy doing it and making something that's theirs! The most important element is that they are relaxed, and inspired, and having fun, and so too are their carers.
