Jane has run a successful London-based floral design business for more than ten years, building her reputation on her revolutionary approach to designing with flowers and her new, natural style.
In 1986 she was commissioned to Miss Sarah Ferguson to design the bridal flowers for her wedding to HRH Prince Andrew. The Jane Packer School of Flowers was established in London in 1989 to teach professional florists and home flower arrangers, and, building on its successs, a sister school was launched in Tokyo in 1990.
Jane Packer has lectured widely in Europe, Japan and the US on flowers and flower display, and her work has been featured in a variety of magazines including Vogue, Country Living, Cosmopolitan, Tatler and Brides. She has appeared British and American TV, produced two bestselling videos on flower arranging and written many books. Jane's work is constantly in demand and she regularly undertakes commissions for weddings and other special occasions in addition to her consultancy work and contributions to major national flower shows.
